NFC use heats up battery?

NFC use is making my battery heat up. It doesn't get hot enough that I can't hold the phone but it's warm enough to make me take notice. I don't have this issue with my S2, S3, S4 & Note2.

I use NFC Task Launcher but haven't found any complaints about it and abnormal battery temps.

I have a Sony QX100 that I'd like to use while mounted to my Note3 but I'm worried the battery may over heat.

Has any else noticed this?

You name it you can do it. I have the following set up. Home, leave home, bedtime, getting into my work van. I have one in my van that I use just for calling my wife. I scan it andmy phone calls her. I don't have to look at my or anything. I also have one for when I ride my motorcycle.

I use Group Play just for fun. To share music, photos or video. Although I tried sharing video w an S4 and the S4's currently do not have that option. (Sharing video) Its really fun! Especially sharing photos and the ability to doodle on them in real time. Whatever you write on your photos comes out on the other persons phone at the exact time. Love it!
