Hello people. Anyone here have a Nikon w/ Wifi capabilities and been able to link their phone to the 6P? I just got a D5300 a couple days ago and couldn't get the phone to sync w/ the camera. To see if the issue was w/ the Wifi or my phone, I took my fiance's GS6 and connected it w/ success and was able to view my photos. On their Playstore page, it says "Not guaranteed to work on all Android devices". I have a feeling this is where I'm at but still wanted to ask

Thanks for your input!

With an app, the Nikon one?
Try NFC, I bet it's more reliable, and it looks like the 5300 supports it. At least try it for initial linkage, or I would anyway, you can always switch to WiFi after it connects.

My old D7000 doesn't support WiFi, without a dongle, but reading about the 5300, it almost makes me want to get one, almost ;-]
I've done with with my cheap(ish) travel camera, my Olympus TG, it creates a mini "hotspot" of sorts, and is simple to connect/browse, from my 6P.
