I normally use my tablet to access streaming through my Chromecast. After the last update, I can't access Chromecast functions through the tab S2 at all. I can't use the tab for mirroring or with any compatible apps. I know it's the tab because I don't have this issue with my HTC phone or my iPad. Wondering if anyone out there knows of any workarounds for this issue. Thanks for any help!

I think it was the last Samsung update. I noticed others with this tablet have reported this same problem in the Google Play Store. Unplugging and replying the Chromecast didn't do anything. I will try the reboot through the app. Thank you!
The old Chromecast app is no more. It's now called Google Home, same basic functionality. I had to download it and set it all up with the Chromecast device again last weekend. After that the casting to the device/tv worked as before.
