Tried turning data on and off? Sometimes the OV gets stuck on 1x.

Reactivate your phone, if you are on a 2.2 rom just hit the activate button, it might take a couple fry's, but it should do the trick. If you are on a 2.3 rom you will have to make a backup, flash any 2.2 rom and activate then just load your backup
