Hi someone please help.
i updated my G2 to 4.4.2 d80020c, but lost root. i flashed back SU thr adb and got root back.
with this process i lost my recovery. i later user autorec to install TWRP and get recovery back.
from recovery i tried installing new rom and unfortunately cleared everything while cleaning cache etc. I'm newbie to TWRP.
now I;m stuck in TWRP recovery and LG logo. I'm unable to push anything using ADB as it doesn't list my device now.
any help would be dearly appreciated.

You need to return to stock LG firmware using LG flashtool. If you want to flash custom ROMs you'll have to flash the 10d LG firmware in LG flashtool. Then root using ioroot and flash a KitKat custom ROM. I suggest SOKP, Carbon and PAC-man.

Here's the xda thread that shows how to get back to stock unrooted.

This YouTube video might help with some of the steps in the xda thread.

Hi. I just had a problem like that and got it fixed.

You'll need:

1. A male micro USB to female USB.

2. A USB storage device with a downloaded custom Rom.zip for your device.

4: acces to custom recovery.

What to do:

1. Enter recovery:

Boot the device by holding the volume Down button + power button.

Lg logo shows: release and repress buttons. Press yes to factory reset a couple of times.

2. Connect and copy the rom.zip to your device.

Go to Mount > USB otg.

Go to advanced > Filemanager.

Find Usb otg > Rom.zip

Copy it to internal memory.

3. Install zip.

Go to install and find your Rom.zip.

4. All done and reboot.

That worked for me anyways. Hope this helps somebody.
