No Flash at launch!

It will have Flash at launch, people. They've been advertising Flash 10.1 since that first CES video. YouTube - Motorola Xoom - Video Promo ufficiale #1

Everyone calm down. The Google engineers developed Honeycomb 3.0 on this tablet...I am sure it has Flash support lol
I don't see anyone here going crazy.

Just talking about a report. If the report is true it is messed up for sure. If it does contain 100% working Flash that is what is to be expected.

Oh sorry, I was thinking of the Engadget commenters! But I can feel the crazy coming...

And yes, that is what we expect. If it is not there, we expect an explanation.

I tend to not see a bunch of crazy on this forum. But people sure do like to try and make people crazy here by talking about the crazies at Engadget.

But I agree, a flashless Xoom would need to be explained.

Ridiculous

No flash No deal. Come on people, this is ridiculous. First no wifi at launch, then requirements for 3G service, now no flash. 800 dollar tablet and you can't watch videos, are you kidding?

Please don't bring up the iPad, I am typing this message on one. We all know the iPad does not support flash. Because of this websites encode their videos with other formats so they will play on the iPad. 95 percent of all websites I visit have excellent video playback because of this. As with our android phones, the same websites use flash when accessed using a different device.

Why the hell is Motorola rushing to market anyway. They seemed totally unconcerned about offering a cheaper wifi version that many want. ridiculous!

It's completely obvious this product has been rushed to market. No 4G? No Flash? If a company wants to find the absolute wrong way to launch a product, all they have to do is look at Verizon and Motorola with the Xoom.

So we will see who the Xoom-fanboys are...

We all know that the Apple-fanboy defense of a flashless system is funny, let's see what comedy gold the Xoom-fanboys give us.

Dude, you're getting really annoying. No need to try to stir something up in these forums.

Anyway, now that this is official from Motorola, I may wait to purchase my XOOM, see the reviews, get some news/updates on it. Motorola is really testing us.

I am a sanity check. I don't want those of us who push android to do better become the same Apple-fanboy drones that we all know are annoying.

So maybe a little pressure to not defend the indefensible is a good thing!

I see what you mean, but I believe people should be able to make up their own mind. Don't label people as fanboys if they buy the XOOM on Thursday. They want the device for certain reasons, and I'm sure they will like their purchase.

You can buy the Xoom and not be a fanboy. What you can't do, in my book, is defend that lack of Xoom, SD, 4G and activation requirement for the $800 pricetag.

The Nook Color is a good tablet for some people, but I would point and laugh at someone who proclaims it is nirvana.
