I can't get my Droid to connect to my router. It never gets the IP address and then disconnects and tries to reconnect over and over. Any ideas? Using a 2wire dsl modem/router/wireless router. I know that the password is correct because it works for 2 laptops in the house.

Thanks,
Rick

I've been having the same issue for a month. After searching high and low for a reason the best I could find was that the frg22b the vzw pushed out does not contain the proper drivers for the wifi to work.
I just got wifi back by loading a frg83 based ROM. Odd thing though (and proves there is something a miss in googles code for wifi) my phone connected and some apps could use the wifi however my browser would not. So to test my theory I dl'd dolphinHD browser and surprisingly that did work. Could surf on the wifi connection. Even more surprisingly with dolphin running the stock browers also has no problem surfing on wifi.

Found the problem. Used the wrong password for the network. What an idiot!

Oh, yah...I've never done that. <grin/>

Since you fessed up, I will, too. Recently was having issues connecting a laptop to my WEP-secured network. I knew I was using the right password. And I was! But after many attempts, reboots, network card fiddling, etc, I discovered the problem: I hadn't added the laptop's MAC address to the accepted filter list on the router that I'd setup with MAC address filtering. Not even that I'd fat-fingered the address or anything like that: just hadn't added it at all. 2 minute fix for an hour+ worth of frustration.
