No more Software Updates option in About menu HTC One ATT

Hi,
I have the HTC One and thought I would check for software updates so I went to Settings, then About. However, there is no longer an option called "Software Updates" like there used to be. The first option on the list is Help. I am on AT&T stock, no root, Android 4.3. Is this normal? Will my phone be checking for updates for me? Why can't I check manually anymore? Sorry if there is another thread about this but I couldn't find one.

This is how it is now with 4.3 The only way to check for updates is through AT&T.
