Bought my Wife a Note 9 Unlocked last year.
She has constantly complained about all the apps on the phone.
And that even though I remaped the Bixby button. She don't like it.
Know Samsung is spending Billions of dollars on Bixby.
It totally pushed me to leave Samsung.

Think she may be next.
Know there are a lot of people that likes Bixby.
But now me.

Thinking about trying this on her phone.
Then she won't have a bixby button.

I loaded the carrier version as well and then had to put 8.01 back on it because I brought an unlocked Note 9 and could not stand having the t-mobile splash screen and apps. Any way to get around that?

No..only staying on the unlocked will eliminate that , and I agree I dont like carrier splash screen so as soon unlocked get pie I'm flashing to that.

Yeah I remember going through the same waiting game with the Oreo update on my unlocked Note 8. Samsung obviously doesn't get the point of having an unlocked phone. But such is life with Samsung phones. I'll be holding onto this Note 9 for a while. I can't see myself giving Samsung anymore money.
