No Regrets. Best Phone. Period.

I bought this phone the 1st day it was available at Verizon. The reception is 10 times better than my old Incredible 2, GPS is lightning fast, call quality is second to none, screen is brilliantly sharp, and with the extended life battery, power supply lasts all day. I see so many people saying this is their "temporary" phone until the Nexus is released. When the Rezound gets ICS, this phone will be the whole package.

Just wanted to voice my love for the Rezound!

I love it as well!! It takes awesome pictures and videos and I work in Philadelphia and get great 4G signal and it's fast as hell. The music with Beats sounds great and I'm getting between 8 to 9 hours of battery life. Once ICS gets on this I'll keep it longer for more than 2 years. I can't see me needing a phone that does more than this phone does!!:):):):)

God i hope i can do this. I'm sick of buying a new phone every few months! If i even keep this for 8 months, that'll be my record

I Have had the thunderbolt since the day it came out. It's been a little bit of an adventure. Nice to see HTC getting back on track.

Quick Question. Were you able to get the Rezound for a 2 year contract price, or full retail. I am wondering because I have the Dinc 2 and I really want something more powerfull.

Well, seems to me that someone as prone to dropping their phone as you seem to be should probably get an ottorbox or sumptin. Then ... no prob.:)

haha Well with 3 kids it sometimes gets dropped w/o my intention! But really I only dropped my X maybe 3 times in 16 months! I dropped my Rezound while I was walking my dog! It was stupid, I was trying to download a app to track my walking and my dog yanked on my hand!

Would love to see some sample pics shot with this phone. The camera is one reason I am thinking of going iPhone on my next upgrade.

I shelled out full price.

Was with VZW years ago. Had Sprint Android & WinMo6.5, AT&T Atrix Android and now Rezound. Rezound is the Best bar none. Color me Happy :D

I would love to have a Rezound, but until permanent root & s-off is achieved, I cannot do it. I have 2 apps that need root to run, so I will not use any device I cannot root. I love the Rezound. I have an Incredible 2 and the Rezound is a perfect upgrade. I know that permanent root has been achieved, but that can be a bit iffy to use since there is no way back if it gets messed up. S-Off and this is mine in a heartbeat. Over the G-Nex. This will have ICS soon enough.

You're already thinking about the Nexus aren't you?

So am I actually. I have very few gripes regarding the Rezound. When I bought it, it felt like it would really be a 2-year device. But the Galaxy Nexus hype is starting to get to me, too. Yes, the Rezound will eventually see ICS, but getting 4.0 out of the box is tempting. Plus, I've been interested in Samsung hardware for a while now. I know the Rezound could last me two years, but I'm not sure if it's what I want yet. Verizon's extension of the return window to January 9th means that I'll be giving the GNex a real look. (If that's even possible to do given the demand for it)

I upgraded from a Droid X and I am very happy with my decision to go with the Rezound. I went to the VZW store to compare the Razr and Rezound before making a final decision. After playing with both phones, decided to get the Rezound at the store. Told the VZW rep I was ready to purchase and I wanted the Rezound. She asked me if I was sure and had I checked out all their smartphones. Then proceeded to take me on a tour of the store to check them out, including the iPhone 4S. I guess she could not believe I would prefer a high-end LTE Android phone to a 3g only iphone that talked to you. Well after taking the obligatory tour, she finally went to get the Rezound for me.
:D

I'm in the same boat. I just wanted a phone that I could keep for a while. Now that I have an LTE device, with unlimited data, I can relax and just enjoy it. To be honest, I'm not even concerned about ICS. When it comes it comes. This phone is awesome just the way it is. I haven't had any problems with it yet and it lasts the work day. I am finally content. I was thinking of the Galaxy Nexus, but for some reason I'm just not feeling it. I know it is going to be an awesome device, but I'm not having the same desire to pick one up as I did with the Rezound. And I got this phone for a penny through Amazon.

The iPhone camera is just a bunch of hype. I had a Galaxy SII and the camera was better. The video was a lot smoother. I haven't really tested the video camera on this phone yet, but the camera takes incredible pictures.

My boner for the galaxy nexus quickly turned to a flaccid shriveled up prune of non excitement. When it was shown at the announcement, i was hooked. Watching every video on youtube about it obsessively, reading all the boards and following new articles added to google search everyday. Then time went by. Things waned down. Then i got to hold one. Theeeen...no. Juuust no. The image i had of it in my head was completely different from how it felt in my hand.

Seeing this amazing device that i had quickly saved $700 for in person was just so underwhelming. So many things popped up: the presence of lag in apps and even the browser where we thought it wouldn't exist anymore, the build quality made it literally feel like a toy and the camera felt dated. I mean, so dated it would be hard to look past it even though i barely use the camera on my phone. The only thing going for it was the screen and vanilla android. And the more i played with vanilla, the more i realized there was nothing special about it. It's just a different flavor.

The rezound i ended up getting was a phone i thought beforehand was going to be underwhelming. No expectations at all. Assuming it was going to be like my thunderbolt, how could i even get a little excited? I didn't know how different it would end up feeling and how noticable the upgrades were. I'm as happy as i can be with a phone right now without even the slightest hint of jealousy for the nexus right now. Only reason i pay attention to it now would be to see if it would be good for my girlfriend who likes big things in her hands ;-)

The rezound in my eyes is already better in many ways to the nexus, but with ics it's going to be far more noticable to alot more people. Right now i've learned that i need to figure out exactly what would qualify as an upgrade: barely anything. Screen tech in my rezound is good enough for the nexy few years. I don't see it progresing much past that point. So my next phone would have to be quad core and more ram. That's the only way you could consider it an upgrade. And i wouldn't even get quad cores when they come out. I'd wait until they've been on the market long enough for them to be useful.

I don't care to be an early adopter. That's what i'd feel like with the nexus. I let others test it out, then manufacturers put their millions of dollars of testing into new phones and put out the refined product later. I'll be good with this phone for at least a year and a half if not longer. This is the first time i've ever had a phone and not envied other new phones coming out. Everything's perfect

Lol Im in the same boat as you. My longest keeping a phone is 7 months. Terrible terrible addiction.

Love the phone, but my only regret at this point is most of the market apps are not yet compatible with this phone. It stinks. I dont want to be with a phone that I cant take advantage of all of my apps.

Wouldn't that be like downgrading your HD TV so that old VHS movies look better?
