No rom/OS, I need one

Somebody please give me a link or instructions on how to install the stock 2.2 android for my VM670. Terms for anybody to understand:

I have an LG Optimus V VM670 on Virgin Mobile and I somehow erased the system completely. All I get booting the phone is the LG splash screen. I have tried everything I can think of or find on how to reinstall ANYTHING on the phone. Every single time, I get "installation aborted" message. I just want the thing to boot into something. help me get this to work.

Rooted or not? Custom recovery or stock? More info would be useful in helping your situation. You say you get install aborted. What did you hit exactly to get that? This phone is really hard to truly brick but the more we know about what you did and what it's doing the easier it'll be to give appropriate advice.
