No Samsung account but I'm getting verification codes

I don't have a Samsung account. I don't even own a Samsung phone, but I keep getting 2-step verification code text messages.

I have an old phone (shock). lol It says, "<#> Account: ?????? is your Samsung account verification code. ?????????"

The text says it's " Texting with (919) 275-1394 (SMS/MMS)

You mean that's the number that's texting you? If you've never had a Samsung device and never set up a Samsung account, then it's probably a glitch or a scam. I'd just block that number.

Yes, that's one of the numbers. I just got another one, same area code different number. This has been happening for a while now.

That looks like scam , Samsung verification code doesnt come like that

How long have you had your phone number? If you just recently got it, then perhaps it used to belong to someone who had a Samsung account, and that person is trying to recover their Samsung account (or some hacker is trying to break into their Samsung account).

mustang7757 is more familiar with all things Samsung, so if he doesn't recognize that verification code format, then I would agree it's most likely a scam. Since there are different numbers sending you these texts, you might have to block them all.

this was a number for verification, i usually get the code pop up on my other Samsung screen device so i choose send a text and came like this

That's actually the same format the OP posted earlier in the thread. Makes me go back to thinking this is a legitimate 2-factor text from Samsung, but for someone else's account.

Might be right , i never have it sent to my messages it would usually go email or send code to my other Samsung device screen.

Something they can bring up to their Carrier or in message app like Google can mark it spam and wont see it again
