no screen but still working

i dropped my phone this morning and now the screen isnt working! took battery out and then put back in after 1 min holding the power button on the side. turns on but no screen but a little flicker when coming on.. i can see the green light at the top and white buttons at the buttom.. help me please

Unfortunately there's not much you can do other than replace the screen (or take it to a repair center as it might be just a loose connector). If you want to back up your phone, you can connect it to your computer via Samsung Kies, but that requires you to have the phone previously unlocked (which you can try to do remotely through Google's Remote Device Manager or Samsung's Find My Mobile).

You can also connect an MHL cable to your phone to display it on an HDMI-enabled TV, but unless your screen still responds to touch or you had a BT Mouse previously paired with the device, you won't be able to do much there.
