When were microSD cards ever free? Over the years, I have paid $$ for higher capacity and/or faster speed cards. I just bought this one for my Tab 8 Ultra:

I've had a usb otg drive for years with dual sides micro usb/usb A, so I can transfer files easily between my phone and my or someone else's computer without having to actually connect my phone to a pc. I don't use much storage on it though, so when I went from a phone w a micro usb to a usb c I just got a cable so I didn't have to buy a new drive. I didn't need it to expand phone storage though.
