Transferred from the Note 9 to the Note 20U. Doubletwist app came over, but no songs visible. Tried Scan Local Folder without success. The song names, etc. still show(without graphics) on the Note 9, but no files there to play. There is no indication on the Note 20 that there are any music files anywhere - not internally or on the SD card. Anyone have an idea on what I might be missing?

Was this smart switch with cable between devices or smart switch on pc?

Wireless, cable wouldn't work.
Im not sure for 3rd party app moving music , you can try backing up note 9 on pc smart switch and then connect the Note20U and just restore app data because you can select what you want restored through pc , otherwise use the sd card to transfer between both device .

Too late to backup the Note 9, it's been reset. And I can't find the music files anywhere on the SD card, although I'm sure they were saved there. The SD has 158GB out of 183GB used, which is mostly image files. And while I can look at all those pictures, the files are not all visible when looking in Samsung My Files. Which gives me hope that those Doubletwist music files are somewhere on the card and I just haven't been able to find them yet...

I see , what about typing the names in search bar in my files app when open SD card ? If still can't then try total commander file manager in play store and see if they can be seen there

Just searched for all .mp3 files on the SD and came up with the 3 Samsung Over the Horizon files that show up in Doubletwist as well. I'm not feeling like this is going to work out too well...

Images are the bulk of the 158GB on the SD, so it's not likely there are any music files there. Tried Total Commander and it didn't show anything more than My Files, unless there's a setting or something I can tweak to get a deeper look...
