No sound with Splashtop Remote

Hey guys so I am new here. and am looking for some help...

I recently got my Asus Eee Pad and bought Splashtop HD for it. but... there is no sound coming from my tablet. I have contacted them and they have yet to get back to me. I have tried the solutions on their site and to no avail. So i am hoping that turning else where will help me.

So here's my specs:

Asus Eee Pad (obviously) - Stock, currently updated
Windows 7 x64 computer
Realtek HD Audio sound card
16 bit, 44100 Hz CD quality setting

*there is sound from my speakers on my computer. but no sound from the tablet. and before anyone asks, yes everything is UNmuted.

Is Logmein the same thing as splashtop. Has anyone tried both?

Did you try powering off your Asus and back on? Last night I was getting no sounds at all. Tried muting and un-muting, changing notifications on everything, and nothing. I turned it off, then back on and now everything is fine.
