No wifi after performance update, can you help?

After doing this update http://www.androidcentral.com/htc-desire-receives-performance-update#comments my wifi isn't working. Did as advised as per the comments and still it wont work. When i go to install the update from the sd card it tells me failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (No such file or directory)?

Any ideas?

Solved!

BTW problems has been resolved by downloading the update onto my "goldcard", that i created by following a guide(google search for how to create a goldcard)
