No wifi connection for tablet DX758Pro.

the tablet will ultimately see the router but will not connect after accepting correct password. All other devices can connect to router. I have done a factory reset no change. All results are as described. Any suggestions are welcome? This is a molded body so not easy to open if I need to get to the internal components.

Exactly what does "will not connect" mean? No action at all? Can't obtain an IP address? Some other message?

Thanks for asking. the tablet sees the router name along with other wifi services in the area. When I enter the password for the router nothing happens and the status of the wifi network says "not in range" when I am 5 feet away from the antenna and other devices are connected. I have tried the auto connect function but there is no connection recognized. Is this what you are asking?
