Noob Contacts Question

Someone called me who is not already in my contacts list.

I would like to add them with a contact so that I will see their name when they call.

When I go to call log, I see the phone number, but when I select it all I get is a Delete option. Long pressing does nothing.

On mine in the log you tap on the number, then hit the info button. I'm on T-Mo. What carrier are you on?

I'm on AT&T. There doesn't appear to be any info button for me. I'm using the stock Phone app that came with the phone.

Sometimes carriers do stupid stuff with the software where they shouldn't. Hopefully somebody on AT&T can chime in with some help. Maybe if you edited the title to Noobs AT&T Contacts Question somebody might notice.

Don't long press ...just press the number and then press details and it will let u create or edit the contact

OK, force restarted the phone application and now both the keypad icon are back as well as the action icons below the call log items.

I've had to uninstall and reinstall a couple apps to get them to work properly. Nothing stock yet though. That's strange.
