Noob here. Rooted-unrevoked3, problems

Hello everyone. New Android user. Had this phone 5 days rooted with unrevoked3
flashed re-engineered from rom manager, didnt work. Now titanium wont start, and rom manager wont start, they just force close when i open them. Any ideas?
I am learning as i go here and this forum has helped alot. thanks.

Did you do a full wipe of cache, data and dalvik when you flashed re-engineered? Sounds like some old stuff got left behind.

yes, from rom manager, flash from sd card gave me option of wiping before install. It did it automatically. or so i assumed?

I'd do it without ROM manager. I've had some things flash great and some that just don't seem to get along with it. When in doubt do it manually. I'm hoping you made a nandroid before you started flashing stuff.

thanks fro the replies. Wipe and backup were the options to check from rom manager, i checked both but now I cant find anything. Starting to get nervous...

the only option that works from the cw recovery screen is reboot

In Clockwork you should be able to Wipe cache, Wipe Data (this will delete all your apps and settings) and under Advanced, Wipe Dalvik.

Then hit the Power Button to navigate back to the main screen. select flash .zip from SD and you're ROM should be under the /clockwork/download/ something directory. I'm not sure what directory re-engineered uses, CM7 uses mirror.teamdouche.net/...

Once you find it you can flash it. Reboot and you should be good.

Yes SHould is the key word. Cant do anything from clockwork other than reboot. Everything else freezes at hat screen.

Follow the directions in this thread to re-load Clockwork, you can use either the 2.x or 3.0.0.8 version of clockwork from Doug's site. Make sure your SD Card is FAT32!
