Noob post-rooting ?

General question for after gaining root?

If I decide to keep the stock ROM, will rooting allow me to delete the VZW bloatware apps, or do I have to install a custom / aftermarket ROM that doesn't include the bloatware apps?

The only real reason I want to root is to rid the stock ROM of the bloatware, other than that, I'm happy with what the TB does.

You can debloat anything/ any rom/ any time.
