Noob start

Like I said before, Hero sucks. Replacement phones won't help. I mean, I think it won't help because I used 3 Heros and all had same problems.
This last dead touchscreen was just too much.

I meant what are you using now? Wasn't inferring that you got another Hero. Or are you using a Hero with a broken touchscreen..

Currently still Hero. And yeah, toouchscreen doesn't work.

Sorry to here about your problems. I've had my hero for over a year with no problems. Thinking about rooting now. Just trying to do some research. Still not sure which ROM to run. Just read that I have to downgrade to root. :-\
