Nook crashes with CM7.1

I had no problems with cm 7.0 but since I upgraded to 7.1 my nook freezes all the time. Any ideas why this is happening?

What did you wipe when you upgraded? Have you ran fix permissions from rom manager yet?

Thanks for the suggestion of fixing permissions. I ran that and there were lots of permissions to fix.
I don't remember what I wiped. I followed instructions from xda.

Is it too late to wipe everything?
