Not Accessing Network Extender Since Update

My Bionic does not always connect to my network extender since I updated to JB. Living in a fringe signal area this is frustrating. On ICS the extender worked great now my phone is breaking up and dropping calls. I also dropped data today. That hasn't happened since before ICS. Wish I knew how to do something about this. I tried a battery pull but it does not seem to access the extender any better.

I don't have your answer but a related, similar problem.

If I set my router to 802.11n my Bionic cannot see it. If I set it to 802.11b or g it works fine.

Other computers can see the router when it is set to n, just not my bionic.

Any ideas?
