Not receiving gmail notifications

I restarted twice, wiped cache twice...removed and re-added all three of my gmail accounts and I am still not getting any email notifications. This has never happened to me. What else can I try before doing a factory reset?

What launcher are you using. Nova you have to select notification on

Duh, that fixed it but who turned it off????? NOT ME!!
