not receiving mms on my droid

Does anybody have a clue why this is happening and how to fix it. I just switched my texting to handcent the day after the android update to 2.01. A friend has sent me multiple pictures via mms in the last two days and I have not received them, and his iphone shows them sent. I have had no problems in the past with this on my droid, Any clues or any settings I need to change?

More than likely a inter-carrier issue. It's not uncommon. Can you send yourself a MMS successfully?

all i get is the little gray box to the side, no picture. Do you think it is an handcent issue?

I don't use handcent but I would first try removing that application then do a battery pull and try again.

I had that issue with handcent too. I stopped using handcent and it seems ok now. Not sure if we had the same issue.

I am receiving MMS messages (both pic and video) just fine after removing Handcent. For me, I prefer the "OEM" app, and it certainly caused less issues.
