Not receiving some text messages.. please help!

[Android Central Question]

OK so around a week a go i stopped receiving all text messages.. it does not seem to be all text messages.. only some.

I only know im not getting them as clients and friends have messaged via email stating they have not received a reply from me.. and i reply saying i have not recieved their message. If they send the same message again it never comes through. Sometimes the same contacts that arent getting through can message successfully.

At first i thought it was long messages, or those with emojis or mms but there has been one case when a text was sent with no emojis and with around 55 characters and was not received.

Things i have tried;
-Clearing cache
-Simple restart
-Turning off and on
-Creating more storage space
-Changing APN
-Changing handsets
-Calling my network
-Updating software

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am losing my mind!

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone and which carrier do you have? What did the carrier customer support person tell you? When you say you changed the APN, did you also check to make sure the APN settings are correct for your carrier?
