Not receiving texts

My girlfriend and I are both on the same plan. We haven't been getting texts from each other. My neighbor is on a different Verizon plan and doesn't see my texts and texts she sends me bounce back with an error.

What's happening?

Are you getting texts from other people?

I would take the two phones to a Verizon store and see what they say. Sounds like a setting is the problem. Wish I had more to offer.

Check to make sure that texts aren't blocked

Be prepared to factory reset your devices if you go into Verizon. If they can't figure it out, their "fix all" is always a reset. Just FYI

Pretty much. If that doesn't do it then they will give you a warranty replacement.

I used to text a friend (verizon to verizon) who had it blocked on his phone unbeknownst to me and I never got any kind of error message. I just assumed he received it. Asked him why he didn't respond and he said he's not a texter and he has it blocked. Doh!

These are people i text often. Seems to be a sporadic problem. Thanks for the help.
