Not too keen with the curve glass on Note 7.

When I had the Note 7 for over two weeks before I decided to return it. During that time, I found that I had some difficulty with curve screen where it would not always register the touch near or around the curve screen on both sides. I had to touch more than few times. I was not sure if it is simply I was not used to the type of screen or I didn't touch it right? Since I returned by Note 7, I am pretty much back to my Note 5. I don't get the same touch issue with Note 5. Don't get me wrong, I love the Note 7. I think it is the best. I was just wondering if anyone is noticing the same touch issue/experience I am seeing? Or it might just be that I might have this experience with any curve screen in general.

I just came to check on this, I don't remember it being an issue before but the curved/edge part of the glass is pretty much a dead zone. Maybe it was like that before and I just don't remember, I had the loaner for a little while.

You can see in the picture, I drew the lines all the way off the edge but a number of them stop short, especially on the right side.

I've noticed it a few times, but so far not consistent enough to bother me. I noticed on my S7 Edge loaner that I had to pull a compass and a square out of my pocket to find true center on the home button in order for it to register me pushing it. So this less sensitive edge thing with the Note 7 is nowhere near as bothersome to me.

The really strange part is: when I am back to Note 5, I am falling in love with Note 5 all over again and really appreciated how nice it look. I guess, I am just too easy.

Then keep your Note 5. If you don't like the curved glass on the Note 7, why even bother with the device at all? Don't pay money for something you don't like. Considering the fact the screen touches are paramount, you will be unhappy with the Note 7.
