Re: Screen mirroring

I connect to my Samsung Smart TV, which has the screen mirroring feature as well. Works flawlessly .

What year and model Samsung tv do you have?

Re: Screen mirroring

Hi I have a 2013 up UE55F8000 tv. When I select Screen Mirroring directly from the note it scans and always brings back the result "no devices found" HOWEVER, if I choose the same option using my tv menu> network>all share settings> screen mirroring within a second what is in my note is on the TV screen.

My question : Why can I not do it from the note to the TV ?

Thanks

Re: Screen mirroring

Easier way than all of the above if you can afford 119 dollars for a new Blu ray player that supports mirroring. (Samsung). Best Buy sells them and they work real well no problems at all.

Re: Screen mirroring

I also use it with a Samsung SmartTV 2013 with no issues whatsoever. Turn it on, connect, voil?. Your TV does have to be on Screen Mirroring for the tablet to see it, though (if you're watching, say, your DTV, it won't work).

Re: Screen mirroring

And if you download the Samsung Smart View app (and your TV supports it), you can even mirror THE TV to the phone/tablet. How cool is that?! :) No more 'holding it in' to avoid missing your show :) hehe

Re: Screen mirroring

Hey guys I have a gs3 running 4.3 and also have a netgear ptv 2000 that I just picked up on e bay. I do not have a WiFi set up in my house cause I use my phone as a hotspot. Am I able to mirror my phone to the tv with this set-up?

I have the PTV3000. That itself has built in Wifi. So when you turn on your Screen Mirroring option on your phone or tablet, you should see the Netgear. Then all you have to do is connect and it's on. No need for wifi in the house. I don't know if the PTV2000 has that feature.

Ok thanks. Looks like I should have bought the ptv 3000. If anyone else has any more info on the netgear ptv 2000 and its ability to mirror please let me know
