That's something I didn't want to hear.... It takes so long to restore... But I guess it's worth a shotI had to do a factory reset after I flashed my factory unlocked with T-mobile software before I could install any updates.
Same here, don't remember when I received two updates so quickly.Unlocked Note 10+ just got November update with improved fingerprint sensor View attachment 312584
This is pretty quick ,but I'll take itSame here, don't remember when I received two updates so quickly.
Fingerprint?I want to know if the change is obvious after the update?
I have the same factory unlocked note + with t mobile flashed and get that message. I connected my phone to smart switch. I was doing a backup. Smart switch gave me messageSo I have the Note10+ factory unlocked version flashed with T Mobile. I keep getting this message. A little confused as to who will push my updates samsung or T mobile![]()
It depend. When you flashed the T-Mobile firmware on unlocked phone. Did you flash home.csc or just csc? If just csc then you should update fine. If home.csc then you need factory reset it.So I have the Note10+ factory unlocked version flashed with T Mobile. I keep getting this message. Yeah I always like to flash CSC for clean install , home CSC will save data but like nuangel2 said update through smart switch you'll be okIt depend. Smart Switch does help a lot, but there's still an hour or two of manual restoration to do. I have to decrypt and later re-encrypt my SD card. A number of passwords don't carry over (even using Samsung Pass). And if I recall correctly, it's necessary to re-register fingerprints, re-verify Samsung Pay credit cards, separately restore Secure Folder items, reset and restore my Samsung Gear watch to pair it with the newly reset phone, and probably a few other things.Yeah I always like to flash CSC for clean install , home CSC will save data but like nuangel2 said update through smart switch you'll be ok
Yeah for some it's a pain to set everything up, it's a hit or miss when I've flashed between carriers and unlocked most times good but been some hiccups had to start clean .Smart Switch does help a lot, but there's still an hour or two of manual restoration to do. So I'm grateful that the last few times I flashed an update with Odin, I was able to use HOME_CSC and it worked just like an OTA update. I would only do a clean install if necessitated by an emergency.
So I did a master reset and boom! Did not to a reset.., but it workedIt depend. When you flashed the T-Mobile firmware on unlocked phone. Did you flash home.csc or just csc? If just csc then you should update fine. If home.csc then you need factory reset it.

Are you referring to updating OTA, via SmartSwitch, via Odin with CSC, or via Odin with CSC_HOME?I did not have to do any of that.
