Note 2 bought in Germany, never used anywhere except US, when & where will the 4.3 update come from?

One of my Note 2 phones was purchased in Germany. It was never turned on until I brought it back to the US. I only use it on prepaid, since it's just a spare phone.(used maybe a few days a month) Sometimes I use a T-Mobile prepaid card(daily $2 plan) and sometimes I use the $50 unlimited plan from AT&T or H20.

How will this phone get 4.3 update? Where will it come from?(since it's not tied to any carrier, either German, US, or otherwise)

What's the phone's model number?

Menu > Settings > About Phone

N7100. Wait.... do they have more than two versions? I thought it was just N7100 and the Verizon version(which i also own).

I'm on AT&T and my Note 2 version is the i317

According to the article, the GT-N7100 and GT-N7105 start getting the update today.
