Hi everyone, I have a Note 2 I am trying to downgrade from 4.1.2 back to 4.1.1 so I can unlock and use on T-mobile network and I am following the tutorial on this page Samsung Firmware downgrade AT&T Galaxy Note 2 | CellUnlocker.net for Unlock Codes and I have has it connected to Odin for over 1hr now and the status bar is only about 1/15th thru so I suppose it must be stuck. So what am I supposed to do here reboot and try again? I just dont want to brick the phone ya know....below is the log. Please help

<ID:0/006> Odin v.3 engine (ID:6)..
<ID:0/006> File analysis..
<ID:0/006> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/006> Initialzation..
<ID:0/006> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/006> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/006> boot.img
<ID:0/006> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/006> recovery.img
<ID:0/006> system.img

The Note 2 does take a while to flash but an hour is much too long. Try doing a factory reset before flashing and also try a different cable and usb port on your computer.

Thanks Boss, just to make sure should I do a battery pull while its still connected or just unplug and go from there?

What I do when odin freezes is close odin then unplug the phone and pull the battery, but im not sure it matters.

Edit:
Also try finding another stock rom. That could be the issue.

I have seen on other forums to remove the battery and unplug it, waiting, and then starting the whole process over again. Not sure if I would do that myself, but letting the phone die while connected to the PC may not be the best thing either. If you choose to do this, I would re download the ROM again, close ODIN, and reopen it with the new download.

Alright I just closed Odin and unplugged and rebooted into DL mode and restarted the process with a different USB and A/V off, I will come back and report either way if it works or not.

Thanks for the info

Well I got it, simply used a different USB port and process took about 3 mins....just wish I wouldn't have waited so long the first time around.
But thank you for the replies as I realize without a some praise all of the contributors to forum sites like this would get sick of helping ungrateful ppl and move on.
