note 2: menu keeps going up & down non-stop

[AC Question]

the menu from yhe bottom of the screen keeps going up & down non-stop making it almost impossible to get anything done on the phone which is Note 2. Is this a virus or a problem with the menu buttons to the side of the button in the middle or something else. Thanks, any info much appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that it seems like someone is repeatedly pressing the Menu capacitative button to the left of the Home button? Does this only happen when plugged in, or all the time? Does it persist after a reboot, or in Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11474
