Anyone plan on switching to a Mega from their N2 once its released? I dont think I will but I do find the Mega very intriguing and def worth a hands on just to check it out and see how a 6.3" screen will be.

If you don't need a huge phone, neither are for you. If you do need a huge phone, do you want S-Pen functionality or not? That's the question you need to answer for yourself.

I already have an N2 so larger screen size is not an issue for me. S-pen I can actually live without as I hardly use it. Im just curious to see if the 6.3 is too much. ..

I love my N2 and I use the S-Pen periodically but not a must. The 6.3 screen on the Mega intrigues me. Might consider on next upgrade.

I would say a good majority don't use the S-pen a lot. I used to use mine on the original Note all the time in meetings at work. However, once I purchased the companion Note 10.1, and Note 8, the need for the pen on the phone was not as needed.

That being said, I still like having the option of the S-pen when I need to jot something quickly and all I have is my phone.

The larger screen size of the Mega is intriguing, but with no S-pen it couldn't be my everyday phone.

I did check mega 6.3 and I must say that I was very happy with my note 2.
The only thing that was attracting me was the updated jellybean software and the updated touch wiz that you find in the s4.
Once the note 2 receives the update everything sets well.
Btw I use spen very frequently as that's a big + in this phone and does a great job.
The people who are not using spen, start using it and you will love it. Just go through the spen features once and get adapted.

Note 2 is the best and if I have to change, it should be note 3 or something with the pen functionality that's better in all aspects than Samsung's spen.

Just read specs and it said 3g wifi,, did not say lte. Also 8 mp camera? Lame. Note 3 is going to have a 12mp cam. Don't even consider this mega a viable option.

IT'S TRUE,, SIZE IS EVERYTHING!

Also don't forget the Mega has 1.5GB of RAM. Not sure why Samsung chose to do that.

It's a big screen with modest specs.. Not even an upgrade to the note 2..It's seems more like a very big low end device.

I am amending my earlier post. I don't like when others comment on a phone before actually seeing, holding, and using it, yet that's just what I did concerning the Mega.

Well, today I went into the Att store and actually saw, held, and used the device for the better part of the afternoon. I must say that I like it. The size of the screen is amazing for performing task, and after carrying first the original Note, and now the Note 2, the Mega doesn't really even seem that big.

The thin and lightweight form factor makes holding the device very easy and comfortable.

I didn't think I'd consider it, but when the Mega lands on Sprint I just may give it serious try.

I must admit that it is a nice big phone for the price which is half the price of the note, so you do what you pay for in terms of specs on paper...the screen looked really nice and it operated smoothly.
