Note 2 Slowed down

After about two years with my Note 2, it has really started to slow down. Periodically, I won't be able to enter my password to unlock my phone because of all the keyboard lag. Other times, like right now, it works perfectly. Is anyone else experiencing this/know how to fix it?

Clearing the cache worked quite well for me as well.

Mine has done the exact same thing, but I have noticed more issues occurring since the kit Kat update was released, and I did do the cache wiping, and I didn't notice any difference to mine. I really believe that's defined last about 2 years then it's ready to upgrade whether you want to our not.
