Question Note 20 ultra, no voice memo text

My phone stopped allowing audio/voice memo in text today. I restarted and cleaned phone. The voice to text works and the voice memo works. I'm not using gboard. I'm using the Samsung messages (3 dots). I have used this feature easily for years now I can't. Any help??

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the Settings>Apps menu, select Samsung Messages, then look at the Permissions. Is Microphone permission turned on?

Try clearing the app cache for Samsung Messages in Settings>Apps, then force stop it and open it again. Does the problem remain?

Yes the problem remains the same.

Clear it's data then force stop it
Just make sure you have Samsung cloud or back up your messages to PC Smart switch but should repopulate the message if u do this will reset the app

Try uninstall the update to the app
Long press the app >tap info>upper right corner tap and uninstall the update

I am not able to do this. Uninstaller update is not an option

I just noticed, when I yell or elevate my voice, it records. Is there a way to increase sensitivity of the mic. I already tried cleaning it. It's been in a case since day2 and I clean it out of case often.

Yeah was thinking Google messages has the option but Samsung doesn't.

Try talking to Google assistant see if it works

Yes. All other voice options work fine. Just messages

Go to settings>apps>scroll down to voice access clear it's data then force stop it, if still same then go back and uninstall its update upper right corner 3 dots and see if that helps
