Samsung Canada is shipping their phones out on or after August 17th so I assume the carriers will be around that time too.

I cancelled to try to get the 10% offer but it failed to work. On reordering, using the link from the reservation email, the $50 didn't show up so I called Samsung and they gave me a ticket number so that I could call after the phone ships for the $50 credit. The good news is that Rakuten was 3% cash back on the original order but is now 10%.

Oh I know! I was stuck with the S7E and I got rid of it because I hated it and traded it in for the iPhone 7 Plus.

That's exactly what I did. I got the S7Edge, and only kept it long enough to get the Jet Black 7 Plus. It took a while because the Jet Black was on backorder for months at that time. I couldn't stand the S7.

Was going to do the buy one get money off promo for Verizon, but that requires a new line which I'm ok with, I can swap around and shut another line down. What I'm not ok with is the new phone has to stay on the new line, can't be moved to another line without losing the credits. That came from Verizon telesales.

Clueless customer service as usual, Verizon or no carrier cares what sim you put in the phone. You can put what ever sim you want on the phone, main thing is that you can't cancel that new line if you want to keep the credits. They could care less if you use the Note 20 on that line or another phone. That's how it works on any carrier in these kind of deals.

I wouldn't worry about that telesales, you will be able to use the Note 20 on whichever line you want. Just swap the SIM and you are good to go. If you got any offers by adding a line or something like that just you have to keep that line active and not dependent on what phone you use on which line.

Went to Best Buy and they had the Note 20 Ultra and cheap Note 20. The Note 20 Ultra in mystic bronze is beautiful, love the frosted glass, wish every color option would have been done this way. The cheap Note 20 with the plastic back, is overpriced.

I seem to remember that you will not. I have no idea. I do know you have to use it all at one time or lose the portion you didn't use
