Note 3 Camera: Never miss a shot?

I noticed that the Xperia Z1 has this never miss a shot feature. From the sounds of it, its always on. The Note 3 has the best shot feature but I'm wondering if this is always on. I'd hate to miss a shot on the Note 3. I'd like to go into the camera app and even before snapping the shot its already taking photos just in case.
