note 3 lollipop guestimates release date

AT&T? A LONG time. They're the last ones to release updates.

They're currently sending out invitations for the soak test in South America for 5.0 for one of the motorolas (their first test for LolliFlop). When will we see 5.0.2 or 5.1 for the Note 3 in the US? Probably not in 2015.

Ugh. By far the worst thing about Samsung versus nexus is not getting software updates for 6-12 months after they're released.

I'm cool with not having it. My phone runs mint right now. I'm just trying to find a way to block the update from downloading to my phone. Lol

Two problems with this Matt. First it is the carrier that slows down the updates in most cases, not the OEM. The update has already started to push out in some places to the Note 3. So now we are just waiting for At&t to screw up the rom before they let us have it. Updates aren't always a good thing.

So, when they push out Lollipop I'll have to do a factory reset on my Note 3 and start over. Thank Goodness Nova, Apex, Next launcher, and Go allow you to backup your desktop layout. All ask is that it at least Lollipop perform as well, if not better, than Kit Kat. On this G3 it runs great, no complaints.
