Well, I've seen couple of same threads but still I don't pretty understand. So here is my case, yesterday, my note 3 ran out of battery (aka 0%) but I'm outside and cannot charge (+ no powerbank) so when I came back home I charged it, but when I boot it up, it stucked in Samsung Logo, till now.

What have I done:
1. Googling for help
2. Go to recovery mode and wipe cache partition
3. Remove battery and put it back on
4. Remove SD Card
5. remove SIM Card
6. Charge to 100% and do all the same thing

But still my Note 3 stucked in Samsung Logo.

What my questions are:
1. What is the solution?
> If data loss can be prevented, how?
> If not, what should i do?
2. What do you guys mean by custom ROM?
3. What do you guys mean by firmware?
4. What do you guys mean by Odin, CMW, TitaniumBackup ?

And I think that's pretty much about it. Really appreciate if you can reply as fast as you can. Thanks and have a good day!

Welcome to Android Central! It may be that the firmware has become corrupt. Firmware is essentially the phone's operating system (and a custom ROM is a user-modified firmware that typically adds features, but requires the phone to be rooted).

First, see if you can use Samsung Kies or Samsung Smart Switch to reinstall the firmware. If the phone can't be detected by these programs, then you can try to reinstall the stock firmware using Odin: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html. Look for the appropriate firmware here: Firmwares - SamMobile. Good luck!
