Note 3 to HDMI.. What's the best way?

My girlfriend doesn't have cable.. Or Internet at her house (she uses her phone) so.. Chromecast wouldn't work for her. I wanted to see what you guys thought about using HDMI from the Note 3 to the TV?

I've seen the below HDMI connector at Samsung site but have been reading iffy reviews.. Some great.. Some iffy.. So I wanted to see if anyone here has used it with success.. Or has another suggestion for me? .

What you show on your link does work, I have tried it.
What it doesn't show is you need a power source to the adapter. A simple charger with a micro USB.

That's what I'm using and it works pretty good. There is a little lag so video games won't play as well. It comes with a 5 pin to 11 pin adapter which is needed for the note 3. It works on my gf's HTC one as well without the 5 pin to 11 pin adapter. It's backordered right now.
