I haven't been in a note taking situation in the few days since I've gotten my Note, but based on my testing of it I expect it will be great for lectures.
I don't understand your query, but I don't use Action Memo much.

Would the S Pen be a suitable stylus for something like Penultimate?
I thought that was Apple only. Is there an Android Penultimate? But that is the type of thing the s-pen is perfect for.

Ah, you were right re: Apple only but it looks like Evernote is bringing handwriting / penultimate type functionality to Evernote. Sweet!

Well, its about damned time!
Hi5 to the sV
That's mostly already in the Evernote app. Also the LectureNotes app i mentioned previously has a lot of functionality.
Interesting, thanks. I'm actually an s5 user right now, but it's like once you get a bigger screen... you can't help but be intrigued by an even BIGGER screen. Hence my curiosity about the Note.![]()
I highly recommend the Note 3. But since you just got a new phone, you may be happy enough waiting until the Note 4 in the fall/late summer. There are also built-in pen apps like S-Note, which has a variety of functions, and Action Memo (this one is just for quick notes) and there are drawing specific apps like Sketchbook. There's a lot you can do with it. When you're ready for a new phone, definitely check it out.
