It supports XLTE. XLTE isn't a feature or a turn off or on thing. The phone will just use it if the towers support it.

Absolutely it supports xlte. Even the note 3 did. Keep in mind that even if you are in a city that xlte has been deployed, you might not be on XLTE. You can use the app "lte discovery" from the play store to see if you are on XLTE
