Note 4 and your car, Compatible? Yes/No?

I can't seem to get the bt on my n4 to discover my 2011 elantra. It worked with my moto bionic for BT calls, never messed with trying to play music.

I have a JVC Hdx80bt or something like that and it works fine. Getting a 2015 Rogue this week and I'm guessing it will work fine.

I'm having problems pairing my Note 4 to my 2014 Subaru Forester. My Note 3 worked just fine, then I decided to try the S5. It was a PAIN to pair (had to go through the controls on the steering wheel only, not on the radio). It worked like a champ once I FINALLY got it paired that way. Then I decided I missed the bigger screen and went to the Note 4. Now It won't pair at all. I should learn to leave well enough alone I guess!

Check with your dealership or search forums for your vehicle. Verify that the head unit in your vehicle has the most current firmware installed. Verify that the firmware supports Bluetooth version 4.1.

2013 Ford Mustang. I thought everything worked right. But today I got a text message, and I didn't get the notification on the car display.
Not that I care, but my S4 used to link texts to the car display. The Note 4 doesn't.

edit:
Actually, it looks like it is working fine. Not sure why it didn't appear to work right that one time.

I didn't read all the post to see if mine was already listed. I'm connected to a 2012 Jeep Wrangler via uconnect. Every thing works great. Calls, SMS & streaming audio. It would not read SMS with my Note 2 so this was a good surprise.

2014 Dodge ram with uconnect system works great

2011 Infiniti G37S. Flawless Bluetooth connection for music player, Spotify, and the Google Maps voice guidance interrupts the music as required.
Works great for phone calls as expected.

My Note 3 worked amazing with my 2013 Camaro SS. You could control the Google Play through my Camaro's radio screen and everything displayed on the screen. The Note 4 not so much. Disappointing actually. Nothing displays on the screen and have to control it competely through the phone.

I have a Note 3 (4.4.4 on Verizon) and recently got a '14 Dodge Charger. I can send and receive phone calls. Voice command works to a limited degree. I can stream music, play, pause, and change tracks (with either the touch screen or the steering wheel controls)...however, metadata does not work at all, which is somewhat disappointing.

I've had trouble connecting before and I've found that removing all other BT devices from both devices you're trying to pair (clearing the cache and data when available) and re-pairing the devices helps.

Works great with my 2014 Range Rover and Aston Martin DB9.

I have a 2014 Kia Rio Ex and my Note 4 pairs beautifully with it and our 2014 Kia Sorento. Zero problems with either one.

2011 F150 with Sync and it all works including SMS but I don't use that feature as I don't need passengers reading my texts.

2012 Lincoln MKX - connects automatically every time, voice dialing, Hangouts, Skype, plays music via bluetooth, and reads and displays text messgages. I havent been able to get it to respond to messages using Lincoln touch, but SVoice and Google Voice do the job. It may be that I'm just not doing something correctly. Overall, it works fine.

2014 Toyota Tacoma entune system - no issues whatsoever; have sync'd contacts with pics, phone works great with dialing and voice, and Bluetooth streaming audio works great.
