Note 4 AT&T Shipping Status???

Attached message at 8:39 tonight regrettably the item below is back ordered. Wtf!!....I put pre order in on 26th an renew another line

Back ordered here as well. Ordered on the 24th. This is pitiful. AT&T should be absolutely ashamed to botch it this bad. My 2 year contract just ended too. You just screwed yourself out of a customer, AT&T.

26 hours, no update. I am hoping my phone will just magically arrive at my doorstep tomorrow and USPS fails at updating their tracking crap.
Mine is the same state. It days delivery is tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
 
Called Customer Service today and was told that there were no phones in the warehouses and he was unsure of why. He had no idea when phone would ship. I asked to cancel order, He told me I could, but that I better wait and see if I could find one in store. I called the store where I had preordered and was told he had two white and one black and said he would hold one for me and cancel my preorder when I got there. As promised, he had a phone for me, sold it to me today and canceled the preoder. He also gave me $25 credit on accessories for my trouble. Glad I finally got someone who knew what they were doing. I had preordered on 9-26. He looked in his computer and said my phone would not have shipped until the middle of November, but he made sure I got one today. Thank you, Jason!!!

You sir, were blessed. Count your stars, cause goddam if anyone at AT&T customer care knows anything about anything!
 
I think it's quite unfair to be given a preorder and ones that ordered it are now not getting a phone. They should have stopped preorders if no more were available to ship when they were promised. Are any other carriers experiencing this kind of stuff?

This is totally ridiculous. What joke. I've preordered with att a bunch of time and I've never seen this much of a disaster.

I've never preordered with AT&T before -- I've always just gone to an AT&T store when it opens on drop day and bought my device there without problem. Suffice it to say I'm never preordering again. Screw both AT&T and USPS.
 
Well AT&T, nice work here. If the wife's new iPhone was still within her 14 day window, you would have lost 2 brand new customers. As it is, since you screwed up, its up to me to hopefully find a phone on my own now. Thanks a bunch.
 
Got mins yesterday. No issues. However not to side track but AT&T will be carrying the Edge also

Was the one you cancelled ordered with the Next plan? I'm going up to the store when they open to attempt this.
 
So I just got off the phone with AT&T and since its on back order and no longer pending I can cancel my order with no problem. I just need to find a store that has them in stock first. I purchased on the next plan.

The Samsung guy told me that ATT will carry these first part of next year but very limited. Most will not be able to get one so I went with the Note 4. Great device so far.

You know how to TAKE.... the reservation.
You just don't know how to HOLD.... the reservation.

Trying to remain in good spirits, I'm Verizon so I have at least another week. :-$
 
I got the backorder notification this morning as well, glad my preorder on 9/22 worked so well! /sarcasm

I called the store to see if they have any they could hold for me, he's going to call back once he opens the box from a shipment they just got in. So we'll see. If I go to the store and cancel my pre-order & get the phone in-store, does that mean I can't take advantage of the pre-order trade-in rebate?

I believe it was extended. I'm not sure how long though check on BB website.
 
My phone was back-ordered, too! Is this a problem with preorders at AT&T and AT&T affiliated stores? Complain on Twitter!
