That's a removal tool which is a different part from the replaceable tips. Gotta wait and watch more unboxing videos. I hope you are right!

Ah, you're right. I just assumed that the tips will come in that little baggie but yeah I'm sure someone that placed their order yesterday will do an unboxing video tomorrow and we will know for sure.

Cancelled the overnight shipping note 4, will refund the pre ordered one, and picked up mine in the local store. Might be the last time I deal with at&t online sales.

Spoke with another rep. She told me "You ordered standard shipping, the tracking number provided means the phone is still in route from AT&T to the carrier (usps) and will take an additional 5-7 business days to reach you". I give up...

Full retail, next, or upgrade? I'm assuming if your pre-order was one of the latter 2 you would have had to buy the one in store full retail?

That's weird, on the order screen it says standard shipping usually delivers within 4 business days

I ordered in at&t store, and was not given a choice as to shipping speed.

I think they are making up answers as they go along just to get you off the line. You would think that all the reps would be given some sort of knowledge base, or at the very least some scripting so that the answers are consistent among them. Getting conflicting answers from each rep is very irritating and just plain bad business IMO.

I asked her to elaborate on what "standard shipping" from USPS means. She said "bulk rate". Bulk rate doesn't do tracking. After hanging up, I looked through their online help section to see this:

We offer the following options for all wireless orders:
• Priority shipping is standard for all orders at no additional cost. Delivery timeframe is generally 3-5 days

So, yeah. I guess I'll wait until tomorrow and see if my order status changes. Also, my CC# hasn't been charged yet either, which is curious.

LOL horrible at&t service... They take the ear buds, the s-pen extra tips, they give us a horrible box, they charge more and they are lost about where is our Note 4... But we still continue to trust them to be our carrier... We still throw our money at them. Smh.

I had a small update to my status. On the att.com my orders page I changed from "preparing to ship" and now it's changed to "in progress". On my Premier page it changed from "Preorder Processing estimated ship date 10/14-10/16" to "Preorder Processing pending confirmation." A little glimmer of hope.

My sprint pre-order just shipped! Tracking via the UPS site is 'in transit', with the delivery date of:

Scheduled For Early Delivery On:
Thursday, 10/16/2014, By End of Day
Originally Scheduled For Delivery On:
Friday, 10/17/2014, By End of Day

Come on early delivery!!!

So I made an account so I could add my two cents. I am a premier customer, preordered 9/30 white n4. Just shipped, no email yet. Next Day Air UPS no estimated delivery date/time yet. NorCal here. I have had the sim card on my order since the preorder was placed, it was processing and has shipped with my phone. No clue what that really means, I altered the tracking :)

I pre-ordered 9/20 frost white with AT&T and mine is still saying preparing to ship. I talk to customer service earlier today and they said its on backorder! I said how is that possible if i pre-ordered that early. Then he said we got thousands in today in the warehouse so they should be updating and sending out soon. So i chat with a ordering specialist 30mins ago and she claims if you ordered before 10/14 then it shipped yesterday! I said thats not true because i have received no email with comfirmation of shipment. I said do you have a tracking number for me. Well guess what happened the chat ended all of a sudden. As of now my status reminds the same no updates and no shipping.

what makes it worse is the fact i get an email from at&t saying, note 4 now available, check it out.lol Yeah I would love to check it out if they would only ship it out.

My AT&T order status just changed to shipped.
It was a Premier order placed on 09/18/2014 (just before midnight that night when they began taking pre-orders).
I live in Central Illinois. They shipped it FedEx. The shipping number is not yet in the FedEx system so I don't know the deliver date.

No email from AT&T yet. I was really worried because I was told when I called in to AT&T earlier today that they had run out of phones to ship - even for my pre-order. I was also told by a different AT&T person that it was indefinitely on backorder and they didn't know when they'd have more phones to ship to pre-order people like me.

I'm thankful these people were wrong and the phone was shipped. I don't know if it helped or not, but I did do two things to try and get their attention. I asked to talk with a supervisor and they put my order on "Escalation" and gave me an escalation number and said they'd call me when they got it all straightened out.

Secondly, I called the local AT&T store and a really nice employee said he could also escalate things from his end to get my phone shipped. He was pretty torked off about the crappy Note 4 rollout fiasco, so he seemed really motivated to help. Especially since they have been selling the Note 4 today at their store, and there was no need for anyone to go through the pre-order hell fiasco. It would have been so much easier to have NOT pre-ordered and just stopped by the local AT&T store today and bought my Note 4.

Mine still says "preparing to ship", and the various SIM card listed under that is still back-ordered. I'm really sick of at&t. I've been with them for over 10 years(if you count Cingular) and this whole thing really makes me want to switch carriers.

Finally says shipped. Maybe I complained enough? I chewed out about 4-5 reps throughout the day. lol

Ordered 9/19, Black, Shipping to Ohio (Just outside Columbus), FedEx

It doesn't list a sim card. And I have a 3GS (since my iphone 5 broke about 4 weeks ago)...I might have to go to the store??

To add on to this, I now noticed that my shipping date says 10/15/14 instead of 10/14/14-10/16/14 so I feel confident that mine will for sure ship out today. I was on the verge of insanity I believe. I too wonder if it's because of how many people I called and chatted with and chewed out?
