Note 4 + Chromecast Screen Mirror - can it be done?

Can Note4 screen mirror using Chromecast? If so, is there any lag if I wanted to mirror a video playing (from website or player)?

Yes it can, using the 'cast screen' function within the Chromecast app. I haven't seen any major lag at all.

Can it cast output from any video player, e.g. MX Player Pro?

Maybe not what you want but you might consider getting an MHL cable instead.

I've screen casted poweramp to play the "sideloaded " music Play Music won't let me cast (which is most of my music) it had a few skips and hiccups but overall a pleasurable experience.
