Note 4, contact doesn't exist?

Hi everyone,
I'm an Android noob and I'm having am issue with the Note 4.
When requesting (via voice) to call or text a contact I get the message "contact doesn't exist". I have tried many different contacts but no luck.
Is it something I'm doing wrong?

Also wanted to add another question

I added all my contacts but how do I add notes and addresses for each contact? I see no way to add this info

When editing a contact hit add another field it will give you choices. As for the calling with voice you may need to train Google voice or S voice if you havent already.
