Note 4 How many have disabled flipboard from home screen?

I disabled it also I like my calendar to the left and to able to keep scrolling...and plus I don't care for flip board tried using it on my Note 2 but just didn't like it.

The first thing I plan on doing is disabling Flipboard and then dialing the bloat.

I am in the process of making my Note 4 self aware.

By the way, I disable s voice too. No need for that. Google Now is more than sufficient.

In another thread a poster mentioned that if you disable S Voice ......Google Now would not work correctly. I "assume" you're not having any problems with Google Now?

I disabled it. It loads slow and stops circular home screen navigation. I just keep the flip board widget from the app on one of my screens anyway.

I disabled S Voice on this and on my previous S5, no problems that I've noticed. What sort of issues were mentioned?

anyone have daily random flipboard notifications? These pop up as text messages and it's driving me insane and I am sure its wasting my battery! I even went into the app and I dont see any place to turn them off! help pls!

I completely turned FlipBoard off. I tried it a while back, decided it wasn't anything I needed, and never used it since. I don't need the app/process running in the background for no reason. I also use Nova, so the left swipe thing was lost on my device anyway.

Me! Also moved my home screen to center position. Work stuff - swipe right. Apps - swipe left.

I too have disabled it and the Note 4 seems to page more smoothly this way. I use the Flipboard App instead.

I can't stand Flipboard. Don't use it, don't want it.

The first thing I did was disable the Flipboard Briefing home screen page. But then I went a step further and uninstalled all the Flipboard app updates Samsung keeps pushing to my phone without my permission, then disabled the "auto-update" in the Play Store, and finally went to the app info screen and erased all its data, disabled notifications, forced a stop, and turned the app itself off. For all intents and purposes, it's down to the bare bones bloatware pre-app package, and that is disabled and hidden from my app drawer.

All that, and I'm STILL GETTING FLIPBOARD NOTIFICATIONS!!! Dub elyew tee EFF??!!

What more do I need to disable to rid my phone of this pestilence??

I disabled Flipboard, still cannot swipe around. Get to the last page either left or right and it stops. Tried stopping app in application manager and still no swipe around last page either left or right. Tried reboot, what am I missing?
